EPI2ME Agent tries to automatically detect output from MinKNOW at the location specified in the settings page.

If you are not seeing experiments and samples, then one or more of the following might be the cause:

1. You have provided the wrong input location in the settings page or the default setting (MINKNOW DEFAULT OUTPUT/data) is not correct.

2. The folder structure has been modified to add new levels beneath /data or remove levels from /data.

3. The folder names have been modified.

a. EPI2ME Agent will try to extract dates, experiments names, sample names, and flowcell IDs from the folder name that MinKNOW outputs. If the folder name has been modified, then no experiments or samples will be detected.

4. There is no fastq_pass folder output by MinKNOW yet, provided that all of the above are correct.
