What is DNA CS (DCS)?
Updated over a week ago

DNA CS (DCS) is a DNA control strand (3.6 kb standard amplicon mapping the 3' end of the Lambda genome) used as a positive control to provide quality control.

It’s introduced during library preparation to help users distinguish the sample failure from the library prep failure.

The concentration of DCS is 10 ng/μL and the sequence of DCS can be found here.

DCS is included in the ligation sequencing kits.
