What is the RNA integrity number (RIN)?
Updated over a week ago

The RNA integrity number is a quality control test that measures the level of degradation of the RNA in the extract on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the least degraded. It is recommended that the extract have a RIN of 7 or higher before proceeding with library prep.
